For today, I got a little playful.  And I learned a useful trick in ArtRage.  In ArtRage, you create a painting in layers.  So I first painted the purple/pink background and created another layer for the cat and mouse.  But then I thought the cat and mouse should be higher and more centered.  In ArtRage, you can do that.  I opened the layer settings for the cat and mouse layer and selected Transform. I simply dragged the cat and mouse to reposition them.  So easy!

I used the pastel to create the texture on the cushion and the air brush to create a softness to the cat.
